The » Bounty, is a stylish 57 foot ketch designed by L. Francis Herreshoff in 1931. She was the younger, smaller sister of the famed ocean racer, Ticonderoga. The well-known boat designer Phil Bolger once described Bounty as “the most beautiful yacht ever designed or built- a flamboyant thing with a riot of sweeping, twisting, converging curves..” She was certainly considered a personal favorite of the old master from Marblehead. Recently restaured at Rockport Marine (Maine), Bounty is now ready for a new life in Europe after a richly textured past in New England, the Caribbean and California
